The word Anakara, was originally manufactured by the Dutch for the Indonesian textile market. However this product significantly gained more interest in west Africa. The Ankara is a method used to create prints on fabric. This process its usually done on 100% cotton. This creates bright colours and patterns that are used to make clothing, footwear, bags, purses, accessories, chair cover and the list is endless.
